LEGAMI
Installazione di Robotica d'Arte

L'installazione di Robotica d'Arte LEGAMI si presenta come un’opera 
semplice ed ironica ma, al contempo, intrisa di significati ed invocante 
una riflessione adeguata sui rapporti tra essere umano, tecnologia e 
natura. Gli autori, a partire dall'utilizzo dell'opera d'arte 
“Fatherboard, The Superavatar” - un costume cyborg-simile, basato sulla 
tecnologia Modular Wearable Robotics e pensato per la messa in scena di 
performances – inscenano un robot-ciclista impegnato in un’azione 
ecologista estrema e paradossale: sostenere la sopravvivenza di una 
piantina attraverso un’attrezzatura molto sofisticata. L'installazione, 
sulla scia del memorabile film della Disney Wall-e, racchiude al suo 
interno temi attuali quali la sostenibilità dello sviluppo tecnologico, 
la mobilità e il concetto di resilienza.

Robot Art Installation

The LEGAMI (translatable as: bonds/links/ties/liaisons/relationships) 
Robot Art Installation presents itself as a naive and ironical art piece 
that, at the same, carries a lot of meanings and in particular invokes 
an adequate reflection on the existing relationship amongst human being, 
technology and nature. The authors, starting from the use of 
“Fatherboard, The Superavatar” - a cyborg-similar costume, based on the 
Modular Wearable Robotics technology and thought for performances – 
build up a robot-cyclist engaged in an extreme and paradoxical 
ecological action: keeping a small plant alive throughout an incredibly 
sophisticated technological apparatus. The installation, in part a 
quotation of the memorable Disney's movie Wall-e, evidently peaks about 
many different present topics like the sustainability of technological 
development, the humans mobility, the concept of resilience and so on.
