Genocide” descrive la storia personale di Kevin Annett quando, nelle veste di
reverendo, si è scontrato con la Chiesa Unita per il suo interessamento ai fatti
accaduti nelle scuole residenziali canadesi e il genocidio commesso dai
responsabili religiosi di queste scuole, dove centinaia di migliaia di bambini
Nativi sono stati rinchiusi, dopo essere stati rapiti alle famiglie, e costretti
a parlare solo inglese, a dimenticare la propria cultura e a professare la
religione cristiana. Qui hanno subito violenze fisiche e sessuali, elettroshock,
sterilizzazioni e, in molti casi, la morte. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

Independent Film and Video Festival nel 2006 e come miglior documentario al Los
