Ci sono stata l'anno scorso ed e' stato veramente interessante!
Tra l'altro quest'anno si fara' in Folkets Hus che ha un significato 
politico (e di movimento) di rilievo. Se volete leggere qualcosa in piu' 
su Folkets Hus l'anno scorso ho intervistato il Pirate Cinema di 
Copenhagen che ha la sede proprio li'...

The Copenhagen Queer Festival 2008 is soon happening!

Copenhagen Queer Festival 08 is taking place 21th to 27th July.

Copenhagen Queer Festival proudly presents our sleazy supportparty on 
21th. of June. The party will be in three floors and among other things 
contain dirty DJs and VJs, cocktail-lounge, dress-up/dress-down corner, 
chill-out and enjoy-eachother-lounge and the exclusive chance of 
supporting your local queer festival AND having a great time, all at once!

The party is taking place at Folkets Hus, Stengade 50, 2200 Cph N and 
starts at 21h. Entrance is 40 dkk.

The festival is taking shape...

Tuesday evening 22th. of July we have a welcoming party. Here we will 
all get to know eachother to the danceable tunes of ScreamClub (Can) and 
NickyClick (US), who are making our opening concert.

During the week there will be lots of workshops. Already planned are 
workshops about Racism on the Left-wing and in the Queerscene, Queering 
the Sports, Asexuality, Politics around Prostituion and Sex Workers, The 
Fight for Free Spaces, Self-defence and Learning to DJ/VJ.

Friday the 25th of July will the big party of the festival take place 
and Saturday the 26th there will be open DJ-deck. So bring all your 
favourite music and use half an hour making us all dance with you!

Since DIY is a basic principle of the festival, we also hope that you 
people out there bring ideas for workshops, skill-sharing and other 
interesting stuff. Among other things we would love to have some people 
committed to do workshops about: Preparations and Considerations around 
Sex Spaces, Bisexuality, Conflict Resolution Skill Sharing and a Sound & 
Light Crew.

Sleeping places

This year we don’t have as much space as last year on the festival, and 
we are working hard to get enough sleeping places nearby and around in 
the city of Copenhagen.

But in case you have contact to any schools or other big places in 
Copenhagen we would LOVE to hear from you. Also if you have space for 
one or more persons sleeping in your flat, coopt or the like. Please let 
us know!
