per completezza di info, ecco il programma complete della Fake Cultural
Institution REFF a Londra: una dlle prime domande è stata se anche noi tiamo
subendo (fake)tagli

la serie massiva di workshop nelle università è seplicemente meravigliosa.
anche noi stiamo imparando moltissimo: dalle osservazioni, dai dialoghi,
dagli usi nuovi che spontaneamente le piattaforme suggeriscono ogni volta.

il prodotto ha gli effetti desiderati, e trasformarsi in pusher di droghe in
realtà amentata e infrastrutture per l'espressione, la reinvenzione, la
stratificazione di realtà... che dire: è una misura di welfare spettacolare
:)

infine una ulima info: ance l'esposizione del REFF è un luogo aperto: per
l'occasione abbiamo creato una mappa che sarà esposta e navigabile nella
galleria

Directly from Italy, Art is Open Source and FakePress present the REFF
project and REFF AR Drug.

REFF, a fake cultural institution founded in 2009, is in London for the
first time to launch, promote and distribute its Augmented Reality drug REFF
AR.

To celebrate the event, an exhibition will open from 25th February at
Furtherfield Gallery, showcasing works by artists all featured in the new
REFF book: Garrett Lynch, Rebar Group and Xname. A real-time interactive
map, created for the exhibition, will describe the life of REFF all over the
world: 60 authors, artists, designers, architects, hackers, journalists,
activists; dozens of actions; a live and real-time stream of information
collectively produced by a worldwide community of re-inventors. The process
is open: please contact us if you feel that your actions are reinventing
reality and, thus, should be added to the visualization.

Visit the gallery, meet the founders of the institution, explore the new
open publishing tool, encounter artworks and performances, enjoy freedom of
access and expression. In other words...take the REFF AR Drug.


*About the **REFF AR Drug*

*Description*: REFF AR is used to treat social depression, fear of the
future, precarity, communicative totalitarianism, scarcity of freedoms, and
intolerant social eco-systems. Off-label, it is used to treat UFPS
(Uncertainty for the Lack of Future Publishing Systems) and LDSBMS ( Lack of
Decent Sustainable Business Models Syndrome)

A global narrative describing the life of REFF all over the world: 60
authors, artists, designers, architects, hackers, journalists, activists;

The map will be constantly available online and will be featured in an
advanced version at the Opening.

*- REFF **Youth Programme *

A special task-force was required to ensure the immediate diffusion of the
REFF AR Drug to the younger generations. Perhaps surprisingly the Fake
Institution agenda has inspired approval and enthusiasm in the academic
world. In the two weeks prior to the exhibition FakePress, together with Art
is Open Source, are running a series of workshops and presentations across
universities and to groups of students in and around London to remix the
world:

Writtle College: Monday 21st Feb

University of Westminster: Tuesday 22nd Feb

*- MACME, an open source tool for cross-medial publishing*

Created by FakePress, MACME is new a cross-media, multi-author content
management system, that enables the creation of multi-device and paper
publications, featuring location- based technologies, QR-codes, and
augmented reality .

The platform will be released for the first time during the days of the
exhibition, under a GPL3 Licence, as a real policy for access promoted by
the REFF.
